professional?

i spent hours working on this blog last night. *hours* i definitley get sucked into it and it is 100% my fault, but i got this grand idea to try to make my blog like a photoblog. i wanted to look for very streamlined, professional, clean backgrounds. the only website i knew of that had cute backgrounds was this website that i'd gotten from leslie. i adore all of their backgrounds, but i needed change.

i'm having trouble working out the kinks with the background i chose. the pictures i posted previously are stretched and blurry because blogspot downloaded them at a low quality. so now, i have to upload my pictures to my flickr account and insert them from that website. it's kind of a pain. all i really want to be able to do is display the photos on my blog, easily, and not have them be stretched/blurry, and i don't want them to be gigantic either. i don't like that there's not a lot of flexibility with sizing things. i guess there is, if you know html. i know enough to be dangerous....

if you're looking for all of the extra things that typically frequent the sides of a blog, scroll down to the bottom of my blog and you'll find them. everything's a little rearranged and different. i'm trying to work out all of the kinks... but until then, sigh.
