tonight's workout:
60 minutes: long run, steady pace
distance: 4.4 miles
the 60 minutes includes a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down.

this was the first time i've ran for an hour - it was a test for dustyn and i to see if we could do it. i was tired, really tired, about 45 minutes in and really wanted to quit. i was trying the new shoes and was a little sore from breaking them in. dustyn was going strong and steady, determined to make an hour. i gave in and said, "ok. let's do this." and we did. one whole hour. 4.4 miles. i know that's not great, but it's good for a first time. now... to make it to 13.1 miles for a half marathon...
